The curiosity you both keep quiet

In an anonymous quiz, each partner rated intimate activities on their own. Neither saw the other's answers. This is how often both were curious about the same thing but too shy to say it.

64% of the activities a couple rates, at least one of the two is up for it
45% of the activities a couple rates, both are up for it and say so openly

How many activities both are curious about but never mention

For each couple, the number of activities where both, answering separately, chose “Sure, though I'm shy.” 68% of couples have none, 32% have one or more.

Plenty of interest, almost none of it said out loud

Among the activities an average couple rates, most are wanted by at least one partner. Far fewer by both openly. Both being quietly up for the same thing is rare.

Method

Both partners completed the whole quiz separately, never seeing each other's answers. For each activity (with a plain description and illustration) they picked one of four answers: “Definitely no”, “If my partner wants”, “Sure, though I'm shy” and “Love this!”. A couple counts on an activity only when both independently chose “Sure, though I'm shy.” Anonymized and aggregated; no response can be traced to a person or couple.
